You are in good hands and we will make sure you feel comfortable and at ease during your photo shoot.

We deliver a collection of images, combining a selection of abstract, discreet poses that show hints of you, as well as photographs where you are more recognisable. You can keep these for yourself or share them how you please. We will always get permission from you before posting any images online.

What to expect

Before your shoot we will talk you through the process and make sure you know what to expect. Working with natural light is best, so we plan the session within daylight hours.

For our engaged women, arranging a photo shoot on the day of your make-up trial can be the perfect time to capture you while you are looking your best!

Quality Time

With up to two hours per session, you are given quality time with your photographer to get the best shots and angles of your body. It can take a little time to warm up, but don’t worry, you are in good hands and once we get going it will be a lot of fun!

High Resolution

You will receive all the best images in a high-resolution digital format within your own password-protected online gallery. From your gallery you have the option to download the files to your own computer.

Proudly on Display

Once you receive your online gallery, you will be able to easily select and order prints or albums through Queensberry - New Zealand’s best quality online printing service. Or feel free to arrange printing through your preferred supplier.

Studio Session

Make a day of it and come to our Studio in Raglan for your shoot! We will make you feel warm and welcome, and if you are deciding to give the photos as a gift, this might be an easier way to keep the surprise.

We offer a printing service through Queensberry, New Zealand’s leading supplier for high-quality prints and albums. Enjoy the freedom of selecting and purchasing your printed photographs directly from your online gallery.

Single Matted Prints

Premium quality prints on smooth or textured Fine Art Paper. Select the sizes you would like and have them sent to you.

Framed Prints

Choose the best colour, size and style of frame to suit your home.

Albums

Create an album your way. You have the option to choose the size, number of pages, cover fabric and preferred paper stock.

Not quite sure yet?

  • I’m a bit nervous!

    There is no need to be nervous. It might feel a little awkward in the beginning, but your photographer will have a chat with you before starting and talk you through some ideas to see what you are comfortable with. Once you get going it will be fun!

  • What do I wear?

    Boudoir sessions are typically photos with you wearing lingerie or revealing clothing. You could bring swimwear if you prefer, or nice sleepwear, high heels, assorted jewellery, maybe an open shirt or thick cardi in combination with exposed legs. It is totally up to you and what you are comfortable with!

  • Is hair and makeup included?

    Hair and makeup are not included in our packages, though we are happy to help organise this for you. We know some amazing artists and are happy to recommend their services. You can get ready at your place or at ours!

  • Do you ever do shoots on a wedding day?

    A photo session can take up to two hours, so this may not be suitable timing for your wedding day. Instead, we recommend organising a shoot on the day of your makeup trial. This is a great way to test your makeup. It also means you can have prints made in time to give to your partner as a wedding gift.

  • I don’t feel like a model, is this for me?

    Come as you are, no matter your age, shape or size. We find your best qualities and aim to take artistic shots of your best assets. There is no need to prepare your body for this... Just make sure you’re over 18.

  • I don't know how to pose

    Our photographer will give you guidance on the day and will come up with poses that are natural for you. We are happy to work with you on the day and hear your ideas and preferences and if there is anything that doesn't feel right for your just let us know.

  • Where does the shoot take place?

    We are based in Raglan, so you could either come to our Home Studio or we could come to you at the location of your choice. See the pricing section for more details. It is essential to have a good amount of natural light as we prefer not to use flash photography. Feel free to contact us and ask what we recommend for you.

  • Do I receive any prints?

    Our packages include digital files only, which will be delivered to you in a password-protected online gallery. You can order a range of beautiful printed products directly from this gallery, or download the photos to have printed at your preferred supplier.

  • I don’t want anyone else to see these photos

    We respect your privacy and will not share your photos without your permission. When you receive your photos, we check with you to see if there are any which you would be happy for us to post to our portfolio or on social media. If you are happy to have the photos published, you can choose to share only images in which you are not recognisable, with or without tagging you.
